Trade Aid x Problem6oy (2020)

A pop-up store interior fit out for a collaboration between fair trade organization Trade Aid and alternative fashion brand Problem6oy. creating one of one clothing with ethically sourced materials

Located on Cuba Street, the material palette expresses simplicity and material honesty.

Using a garment conveyor typically found in warehouse spaces, the limited edition clothing pieces revolve around the store. In this way, each piece gets the opportunity to be seen from the shop frontage, while the unique revolving solution draws customers in.

The conveyor track moves inward at points to create places where garments are displayed to the customer within the store.

Multiple iterations were considered which predicted how customers may move throughout the store.

Regulatory and ergonomic spatial requirements were considered for an accessible experience for all.

The simple timber countertop and partitions reference wooden shipping crates, echoing the internationally imported nature of the clothing.
